Cottage-herb Dressing

Put the milk, cottage cheese and lemon juice in a blender container and blend until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients to the cottage cheese mixture and blend until all of the vegetables are chopped. Chill before serving. Makes 1 1/2 cups.

Confetti Dressing

Put all of the ingredients into a blender container and blend until the vegetables are finely chopped. Chill the mixture before serving. Stir the mixture before spooning the dressing over salad greens. Makes approximately 2 1/3 cups of dressing.

Basic Roquefort Dressing

Mash cheese with a little oil. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, vinegar and balance of oil. Shake well until creamy. There are lots of recipes, but this is my personal favorite. Enjoy.

Sour Cream Dressing A La Rons Plaice

Stir cream until smooth. Season with salt & pepper. Add mustard and castor sugar. Stir well. Add a little milk if the dressing is too thick for your taste. Rons notes: You can add finely chopped chives for a little color if you wish. From Ron in Blackpool:)

Greek Salad Dressing

In a blender puree all of the ingredients.

Garlic Dressing

1. Combine egg yolk, vinegar, sugar, garlic, and salt in the food processor. Process briefly. 2. With motor running, dribble in olive oil. 3. Taste, correct seasoning if necessary, and store.

Poppy Seed Dressing #4

Mix sugar, mustard, salt and vinegar in mixing bowl. Heat 1-1/2 cups Wesson oil and paprika. Cool to cold then add remaining Wesson oil. Beat as for mayonnaise. Add poppy and celery seed and mix well. Store in refrigerator. Use as needed.

Homemade House Dressing

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender, and blend until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl, cover and chill until ready to use.
