Burnt Sugar Buttercream Frosting

Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat in the powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and burnt sugar syrup. Add cream to make the frosting good consistency for spreading.(May need up to 2 Tablespoons or more)

Simple Sugar Glaze For Cakes

In small bowl, using electric beaters, combine all ingredients & beat until smooth. Glaze should be thick, but pourable. If too thick, add another Tbls. of milk.

Almond Buttercream Frosting

In bowl with electric beaters, cream butter until light & smooth. Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating until mixture is very creamy & smooth. Beat in extract & 2 Tbls. milk. If too thick, add additional milk.

Flower Cream Frosting

Mix in large mixing bowl at low speed, beating until smooth. VARIATION: For chocolate frosting, add 1 1/2 cups sifted cocoa.

Chocolate Butter Icing

1. Melt chocolate over very low heat. Add butter and melt. 2. Remove from heat and add hot water (or cream or coffee) and salt. Gradually add vanilla, then confectioners sugar until desired texture is reached. ~–

Fruit Coctail Cake Icing

Cook sugar, oleo, and milk until thick. Remove from heat and add pecans and coconut. Pour over hot cake.
