Ingredients:
1/4 c  Vegetable oil
1    Garlic clove, minced
2 c  Cooked pinto beans or
1    (16 oz.) can, drained
1    Onion, finely chopped
1/2 ts Chili powder
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
1/4 c  Shredded cheddar che

Heat the oil in a large skillet, add the onion, garlic, and chili powder
saute over low heat until the onion is transparent. Add the beans by th and
mash into a paste until all are used. Mix well. Add salt and peppe taste
and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Serve as a side dish.
