Dissolve gelatine in cold water. Pour on that 1 1/4 cups boiling water, 3/4
cup sugar and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Mix well. Let stand until almost set
then beat. Add 2 beaten egg whites to beaten gelatine. Let set in
refrigerator.

For Sauce: Mix milk, flour and sugar in saucepan and heat until it thickens
a little, then add beaten egg yolks a little at a time. This should be
stirred constantly. When the sauce is thick enough remove from heat and
stir in vanilla.
