German Filbert Cookies

Mix all together. Form into small crescents. Bake for approx 10 min at 300 degrees. Should not brown. Dough may be frozen. To finish, cookies may be dipped in icing sugar, or chocolate or as desired.

Spiced Prune Cookies

Mix butter, sugar & egg. Blend flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon & cloves. Add to sugar mixture; blend in milk. Add prunes, mixing well. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 400. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Snack Mix Bars

Grease 13×9″ pan. In large bowl, combine cereal, pretzels, peanuts and M&Ms. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat; add peanut butter and marshmallows. Heat until smooth and completely melted, stirring occasionally. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat. With wet fingers, press mixture evenly in greased pan. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

Dry Baking Mix

Sift or mix ingredients. Cut in lard till mixture resembles fine meal.
