Chili Cheese Log

Beat chili seasoning with cream cheese and salsa. Shape into a log and top with chopped nuts and Jack cheese. Chill until firm. Decorate as desired. Serve with assorted crackers and vegetables.

Asparagus Roll Ups

* Remove crusts and flatten each slice. Mix bleu cheese, worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, cream cheese and seasonings. Spread on bread – place an asparagus spear on top and roll up. Roll in melted butter and cut in thirds. Place on cookie sheet and bake for about 20 min.– at 350 degrees.

Onion Liverwurst Pate

Combine onion,half the cream cheese,liverwurst,mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Blend well. Place in a plastic lined bowl and chill until firm. To serve,unmold on a serving plate. Orange Garlic Butter

Leave butter out until soft and whip until it turns white. Add remaining ingredients; set aside. Just before serving, place 1 TB orange garlic butter on top of stuffed romaine; melt. Suggestions: Use as an appetizer; garnish with sliced blanched carrots in Grand Marnier. Serves 4-6.

Pickled Red Eggs

Pack the eggs in 2 quart jars. Combine beet juice, vinegar, and spices in a saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. Pour over eggs, seal, let cool and chill. Refrigerate a few days to allow flavors to permeate the eggs. Small cooked beets may also be pickled along with the eggs.

Greek Deviled Eggs With Ouzo
