Simple Sloppy Joes

I never had a recipe for this when the kids were little; but this is what I would do. I browned the meat with the garlic, onion and celery; then added tomato sauce (now I would use Manwhich). Just simmer for about 1/2 hour. Serve over hamburger rolls.

My Pressure Cooker Pot Roast

brown meat in oil. Add onion, tomato juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Stir and pressure cook for 15 minutes per pound. Add 1/2 tsp salt, worcestershire saue and water. Pressure cook 15 minutes. Thicken sauce and serve.

Batter Up Beef Pie

Combine beef,onions,carrots,potatoes and gravy.Set aside.Melt in bottom of 8″ square baking dish in 350 degree oven.Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.Stir until blended.Pour in baking dish. Pour beef mixture over batter.DO NOT STIR.Bake 1 hour and serve.

Company Stew

Combine all ingredients except potatoes. Bake at 300 degrees F for 2 1/2 hours. Add potatoes and bake for another hour.

Beer Broiled Beef

Melt butter in large skillet and saute onions until tender. Dredge beef cubes in flour and brown them in a separate skillet with oil and butter. Add browned meat, salt, pepper and garlic to onions. Add enough beer to cover. Cover tightly and simmer till meat is tender.
