Raisin Breakfast Bars
Combine flour, wheat germ, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir in margarine, honey, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Press mixture firmly into a greased 8- inch square pan. Bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 10 bars.
Maple Bran Muffins
Combine bran, milk and maple syrup. Mix in egg and oil. Combine remaining muffin ingredients. Add bran mixture, stirring until just moistened. Divide batter into 12 greased muffin tins. Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes. Glaze: Combine ingredients, stirring to blend, and spread over warm muffins.
Milk Chocolate Frosting
Place chocolate pieces in e safe container. Microwave at full power for 2 1/2 or 3 minutes or until melted, stirring half way through cooking time. Or melt in small saucepan over very low heat. Stir in butter until smooth. Spread over bar cookies.
