Ingredients:
2 c  Whole-wheat flour -- * see

2 1/2 ts Baking powder
2 1/4 c  Water
1 ts Pumpkin pie spice --
Optional

Mix dry ingredients together. Add water and mix well. Ladle onto a hot
non-stick griddle, turning once when bubbles form on top and edges are
beginning to dry.

HELPFUL HINTS: Change spices used to vary the taste of the pancakes. Try
some Italian Herb Seasoning for use as a dinner pancake with a vegetable
sauce. For other meals, these are very good with apple sauce and sprinkled
with cinnamon.
